How to submit your poster to LBA DIS:
You will need to send a copy of the data to LBA DIS at CPTEC. If you prefer to send the data on physical media by surface mail, please send to:
Andrea Correa Flores Albuquerque
Manager, LBA Data and Information System (LBA DIS).
AV. André Araújo, 2936 – Aleixo

Voice: +55 (92) 3643-3621 - +55 (92) 3643-3620
E-mail:andreaa@inpa.gov.br
If the data volume is practical for transfer via ftp, follow the directions below:
FTP lba.cptec.inpe.br
user: lbauser password: amazonas
Then type:
cd submitdata [for data] orcd submitposter [for posters]
Create your own subdirectory: e.g.
mkdir myteamid
cd myteamid
put your data
IMPORTANT NOTE : Please send us (lba-dis@cptec.inpe.br) an e-mail telling us where you have put data on the ftp site. We also need to know the team ID associated with the data, e.g. TG-99, and whether the data/poster can be archived in a publicly accessible area or if it should be archived in a restricted access area.
LBA DIS will move the data to a permanent location and will send you an email notifying you the archive location, i.e. URL, e.g. ftp://lba.cptec.inpe.br/lba_archives/TG-99/yourdatafiles.ext.Using the LBA Metadata Editor (LME) to create or modify your metadata, you will need to place the above URL (or a comparable URL if have your own publicly accessible ftp site) into the LME field(s):
Data Set Link URL or Poster Link URL
After the next Beija-flor harvest, users can search the LBA metadatabase via Beija-flor, browse your metadata, and access/download your data.
