In order for the LBA participants to be as informed as possible about the LBA-DIS WG efforts, an email distribution list and list subscription service have been implemented on the NASA LBA-Ecology systems at Goddard Space Flight Center. Since the distribution of LBA-DIS WG efforts are handled by this list, subscribers to the list will receive the ongoing communications within the LBA-DIS WG. All routine administrative requests are handled by sending email messages to an automated server. The details on using this service are described below.

SUBSCRIBING
============
To subscribe to the lba-dis-wg email distribution, send the following in the body (not the subject line) of an email message to "
Majordomo@lba-email.gsfc.nasa.gov  ": subscribe lba-dis-wg This will enter your email address contained in the sent message into the lba-dis-wg list.
If you wish to subscribe another address instead, you can use a command of the form:
subscribe lba-dis-wg other-address@your_site.your_net  

UNSUBSCRIBING

To unsubscribe from lba-dis-wg, send the following in the body (not the subject line) of an email message to "
Majordomo@lba-email.gsfc.nasa.gov  ": unsubscribe lba-dis-wg
This will remove the email address from which you send the message. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send a command of the following form instead:
unsubscribe lba-dis-wg other-address@your_site.your_net 
If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send the following command to see who else is on the list
(assuming that information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list): who lba-dis-wg If you want to search non-private lists at this server, you can do that by sending a command like:
which string
This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".
