CPTEC - LBA CD-ROMs

The Pre-LBA Data Sets Initiative is based on data that were collected in Amazonia during the last 20 years. This CD-ROM collection includes satellite imagery, micrometeorological observations, near-surface and upper-air atmospheric conditions, and surface biophysical and hydrological measurements. Vol. 1: FLUAMAZON, ISCLSCP, RADAMBRASIL, RBLE; Vol. 2: ARME, FLODAMA, SCAR-B; Vol. 3: ABLE, ABRACOS, CAMREX, RONDONIA Maps - CABARE, TRACE-A. The JERS-1 CD-ROMs contain data from the JERS-1 SAR Global Rain Forest Mapping Project, an international project led by the National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) that maps the world's rainforest regions to high resolution by using Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR). In accordance with NASA's Memorandum of Understanding with NASDA, the JERS-1 SAR CD-ROM data are provided under the condition that the recipient shall be required to submit evidence of its use to NASDA and/or NASA, if requested.
